If you bought a phone elsewhere, you can bring it it over when you switch if it’s unlocked and compatible with the Visible network. If you aren’t sure, use our Compatibility Checker to find out. 

If you’d like to bring your number over, you must first check to see if it's eligible. If it is, you should be able to keep your old number when you activate Visible service through a process called porting in. 

The most important thing to ensuring this goes smoothly, is that you should NOT cancel your current carrier before your number has been ported out. 

To bring your number, select this option when you set up your account. We’ll guide you to submit a request to port your number from your current carrier. Once your carrier has released your number, we attach it to your account, and you’ll be good to go. Your old account will be terminated once the port is complete.

If you bring your number, your old account will be terminated once the port is complete. It’s very important that you do not cancel your service before your Visible service is active.

If you are not bringing your number with you, you will need to reach out to your carrier and cancel your service whenever you are ready to do so.

When you set up an account with us, you can pay monthly or set up Auto Pay. We accept payments via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Union Pay), PayPal or Venmo. 

If the phone you would like to activate on is not eSIM compatible (or if you prefer to stick with a physical SIM card), we’ll need to send you a new SIM card. You should receive it within 3-5 business days (or overnight for those on the Visible+ plan). If the phone you’d like to activate is eSIM compatible, and you’d like to use eSIM -- you can activate in minutes with no physical card needed.
