Guiffy is a Java/Swing application. For Windows and Linux(x86) users Guiffy downloads are available below with a 1.4.2 or 1.6.0 Java Runtime Environment (JRE) included. These InstallAnywhere downloads include everything you need to run Guiffy - even if you do not have Java installed on your system. The JRE included in these download install packages is the full international version with all the (over 150) supported file encoding character sets. And, these downloads and installers will leave your current Java environment (even if its a development enviroment) undisturbed.
For all other platforms, before installing
Guiffy you need to have a Java Runtime Environment
(JRE) installed on your system. If you have
multiple Java releases installed on your
system, Guiffy's Installer will allow you
to choose which to use. Using some versions
of Microsoft Internet Explorer may require
you to right click on the link and then
choose 'Save Target As...'.
Guiffy is tested with 1.1.8 (with Swing
1.1), 1.2.2, 1.3.1, 1.4.2, 1.5.0, and 1.6.0 JREs.
Each Guiffy installation includes an UnInstaller
application located within the UninstallerData
SubFolder of the installed folder.
